Ina Garten, an American author of cookery books and Emmy Award-winning host of the Food Network's most popular program, Barefoot Contessa which began broadcasting in 2002 and will run for 27 seasons until 2020. Ina began writing Nuclear energy and policy documents in the White House. She initially adored the intellectual stimulation of her job, but eventually, she lost the interest. Instead, she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty store for food. After 18 years of making her business a massive success, she sold it and began writing her first book. Several other books and newspaper articles were published. Her Food Network TV show also was launched which was an enormous hit. Additionally, she sells items that range from food items to storage containers and equipment. Ina is not a student at any cookery school or employed in a restaurant, and is completely self-taught. Her relaxed approach to entertaining and her straightforward cooking style is well-known. Her most well-known recipes include Skillet and Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and Cheese, Mac and Beef Bourguignon. cheese with Beatty's Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Bars.
