Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kimberly Schmid's mom is Chinese and was raised within Vietnam. Winston Barrett Munn is from the American South. Her parents divorced when she was the age of 2. She was raised by her mother, who served in the United States Air Force, as well as her stepfather. The family emigrated to Oklahoma, and lived in various locations, however she spent most of her life in Tokyo. In this period, Olivia participated in various local theater productions.
